Bili\u015fim Vadisi Hosted “Startup20 Workshop: Global and Regional Perspectives”<\/h3><\/div>

“Startup20 Workshop: Global and Regional Perspectives,” a pivotal event organized as part of the Startup20 initiative\u2014an official sideline of the G20\u2014was successfully held at Bili\u015fim Vadisi. This event brought together key stakeholders including technopark officials, startup representatives, investors, legal experts, public institutions, and high-level delegates from six nations to explore new strategies and projects aimed at advancing the global startup ecosystem and furthering sustainable development goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop commenced with an insightful opening address by Erkam T\u00fczgen, General Manager of Bili\u015fim Vadisi<\/a>. In his speech, Mr. T\u00fczgen highlighted commitment to fostering a dynamic startup environment and underscored the importance of international collaboration. He stated, \u201cWe are honored to represent T\u00fcrkiye in the Startup20 forum. Our commitment to international cooperation is evident in our efforts to share knowledge, improve financial access, and support women’s and social entrepreneurship. We believe that Startup20 holds significant potential to drive global startup innovation and investment, and we invite all stakeholders to join us in maximizing this opportunity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The workshop featured a range of discussions on critical topics including international cooperation, responsible artificial intelligence, tokenization, innovation, and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) considerations. Experts shared valuable insights, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of both global and regional perspectives.<\/p>\n

A panel discussion, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Rodopman, saw contributions from representatives of Brazil\u2014current president of Startup20\u2014alongside delegates from Germany, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, and India. The panel explored strategies for enabling Turkish startups to expand internationally. Following the panel, several startups from Bili\u015fim Vadisi presented their initiatives and engaged in discussions about potential collaborations across different countries.<\/p>\n

The workshop also included interactive round table sessions where participants engaged in focused discussions on eight key topics. These sessions addressed legal and economic strategies to bolster the entrepreneurial ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Bili\u015fim Vadisi, representing T\u00fcrkiye on the Startup20 platform\u2014a subsidiary of the G20 encompassing 19 member countries, the European Union, and the African Union\u2014aims to elevate T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s startup ecosystem on the global stage. The event was a significant step in showcasing T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s innovation and entrepreneurship potential, with the goal of positioning T\u00fcrkiye as a prime destination for startup investments.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
