₺ 100 Million Fund is Waiting for Entrepreneurs

Founded by Türkiye’s technology and innovation base, Bilişim Vadisi, the Venture Capital Investment Fund has started to receive applications at the address gelecekburada.com.tr.

Bilişim Vadisi General Manager Serdar İbrahimcioğlu invited entrepreneurs to benefit from this fund, which aims to provide financial support to all initiatives based on civil technologies.

APPLICATIONS HAS STARTED

Bilişim Vadisi, which announced that the fund would be officially established with CMB approval in December 2020, began to receive applications for the fund, which was designed for entrepreneurs that progressed beyond the idea phase and found a place in the market. Entrepreneurs will be able to apply at gelecekburada.com.tr.

INVITATION TO THE FUND

İbrahimcioğlu, General Manager of Bilişim Vadisi, emphasized that intellectual capital, physical capital, and financial capital are needed for the establishment of an entrepreneurial ecosystem and said, “Due to this need for financial capital support, we, as Bilişim Vadisi, established the Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Investment Fund together with Vakıf Katılım, Albaraka Katılım and Albaraka Portfoy Management. We started to receive applications through the website we created. For this reason, I invite our entrepreneurs to apply for the Venture Capital Investment Fund, which we have established, at www.gelecekburada.com.tr.

CIVIL TECHNOLOGIES ARE FOCUSED

Emphasizing that the fund will focus on civilian technologies, General Manager İbrahimcioğlu said, “The fund will invest in companies that are ready to grow in the fields of information and communication technologies, games, finance, cyber security, mobility, agriculture, health, and energy. Scalable entrepreneurs who are beyond the idea phase, whose prototype is ready, who have gained their corporate identity and who have a goal of globalization will be preferred.”

NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY MOVE

The Venture Capital Investment Fund, one of the visionary projects of the National Technology Move, which aims to implement high-impact programs and projects to improve Türkiye’s technological competence, was launched last September at a ceremony in Gebze, Kocaeli, with the participation of Science, Industry, and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank.
