Innovative AI Startups Meet Investors at Bilişim Vadisi!
B-Stars AI Acceleration Program Demoday Event Held at Bilişim Vadisi
The B-Stars AI Acceleration Program Demoday, held on May 29 at Bilişim Vadisi’s Kocaeli campus, brought together the brightest projects of the AI-focused entrepreneurship ecosystem with investors.
From over 300 applications, 32 innovative startups were selected and went through an 8-week journey of training sessions, tech seminars, workshops, case studies, and mentorship support to refine their business ideas. At the end of the program, the top 10 startups took the stage at Demoday to present their projects to investors and ecosystem stakeholders.
Supported by prominent partners such as İş Bankası Yapay Zeka Fabirkası, Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, and NVIDIA, and with contributions from valuable partners like Astera Human Resources, Kaizen Institute of Turkey, and The School of Technology & Innovation, the program provided startups with a comprehensive development environment.
The opening speeches of the event emphasized the strategic importance of AI entrepreneurship and the trust in Türkiye’s AI ecosystem.
AI Has Brought a Paradigm Shift to Our Lives
In his opening speech, Bilişim Vadisi General Manager Erkam Tüzgen stated that they operate with the vision of transforming Türkiye into a country of technology and entrepreneurship. “In this regard, we are striving to support entrepreneurship through incubation programs, our long-standing Mobility Acceleration Program, the DIGIAGE gaming entrepreneurship program we organize domestically and abroad, and TEKNOFEST competitions, among many other initiatives,” he said.
Tüzgen highlighted that AI has brought a paradigm shift to daily life:
“As a country, we strive harder in areas where there’s a technological paradigm shift globally, and we consider ourselves fortunate in these fields. Entering a century-old aviation race under today’s standards is not easy. But unmanned aerial vehicles are a novel area worldwide, and we joined that race on time. Today, we are one of the countries that can produce the best unmanned combat aircraft. Similarly, with Togg, we entered the automobile industry at a time when electric vehicles are taking over, and we aim to be one of the leading countries in this transition.”
Addressing entrepreneurs at the end of his speech, Tüzgen emphasized that there is a real opportunity for Türkiye to become a global leader in AI, calling on entrepreneurs to build the future.
Each Startup is a Technological Stronghold in Türkiye’s Digital Future
Kübra Boz Binzat, Deputy General Manager of İş Bankası AI Factory, underlined that they serve as a strategic partner in developing Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, especially in AI:
“We believe that each startup is a technological stronghold in Türkiye’s digital future. Every startup on stage today represents not just an idea or a financial metric, but a building block of Türkiye’s competitiveness, independence, and future vision. Acceleration programs are not just about education and mentoring; they are valuable because they connect us, build bridges, and inspire new perspectives. In an ecosystem built with the right mentors and startups, individual successes can multiply into major success stories. We hope to continue walking together on Türkiye’s AI journey—not just as users or consumers, but as leaders, exporters, and standard-setters across industries.”
We Prioritize Enhancing Startups’ Export Potential
Representing Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, Emir İbrahim Uzunoğlu expressed excitement about being among visionary entrepreneurs shaping Türkiye’s AI future:
“We know that AI is no longer just a technology; it is a force shaping future innovations and industries. At the center of this transformation are tech entrepreneurs who take risks to grow fast, are open to continuous learning, and think globally. Microsoft is at the heart of this transformation. We place special emphasis on increasing startups’ export potential. Through Microsoft Marketplace, our startups can sell in 150 countries. We are proud to witness Turkish startups exporting their innovations abroad. Every startup on stage today is more than just an idea—it is a step toward Türkiye’s digital future,” he said, highlighting the importance of global collaboration and scalability.
Following the opening speeches, plaques of appreciation were presented to partners, mentors, and trainers who contributed to the program.
