As part of the world’s largest Aerospace and Technology Festival, TEKNOFEST, the RoboTaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition was held in at Bilişim Vadisi between August 10–13.

The competition was organized in two categories: the Original Vehicle Category, in which students undertook all processes from vehicle production to software development themselves, and the Ready Vehicle Category, in which participants operated their own software on autonomous vehicle platforms provided by Bilişim Vadisi. In total, 568 applications were received for both categories, and 45 teams from 16 provinces and 2 different countries qualified for the finals. Competing to successfully complete the tasks set under real track conditions, the teams showcased remarkable determination and skill.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, along with TEKNOFEST Board of Directors Chairman and Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3) Board of Trustees Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, attended the final races, visited the stands, and received information from students about their autonomous vehicle projects.

The finals of the RoboTaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition, held on the Bilişim Vadisi track, were filled with excitement. Special awards were announced in five different categories. In the Original Vehicle Category, the Most Original Software award went to KATOT, the Most Original Design award to EVA Autonomous, and the Best Team Spirit award to DUSCART.
