The Turkish Mobility Ecosystem Drew Great Attention at TMWC’23 in Barcelona

Revealing the mobility technologies of the future, Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC) was held in Barcelona, Spain on November 7-9. Bilişim Vadisi, Türkiye’s technology and innovation hub, hosted the Türkiye Pavilion at TMWC. Eight Turkish mobility companies and four Turkish entrepreneurs introduced their mobility technologies to the world.

As part of Smart City Expo World Congress, the world’s largest city and urban innovation event, Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC) took place in Barcelona, Spain between November 7-9, 2023. Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress, the annual meeting of the international mobility industry with innovative technologies and solutions, aims to redefine cities’ urban mobility visions based on sustainability. The fair enables industry experts and companies to introduce and exhibit their projects, ideas, software, and hardware on a global scale since 2021.

Participants From More Than 140 Countries

TMWC’23 brought together powerful mobility companies and entrepreneurs from more than 140 countries this year. With more than a thousand booths, the event addressed many topics ranging from future transportation systems to energy and sustainability, while software and hardware developed in various fields such as urban logistics, public transportation systems, smart cities and automotive were introduced to visitors.

Büyütech, developing and producing high quality and optimized camera-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions and supplying cameras to Togg, Türkiye’s national car; Intetra, producing system integration that provides end-to-end solutions for infrastructure-superstructure applications; Saykal Elektronik, developing advanced technology in detection, identification, and imaging systems for the automotive industry; Parabol, providing innovative mobility solutions for traffic safety and transportation; Robo Automation, providing industrial automation services to many sectors, primarily the automotive sector; BinBin, operating in six countries with smart urban transportation vehicles; LG+ Partners, designing people-centered living spaces, and MAHREK, a manufacturer of electronic bracelets; all introduced their own technologies at TMWC.

Türkiye Shared Its Experience In Mobilities To The World

Hosted by Bilişim Vadisi, which plays an important role in the development of the Turkish mobility ecosystem with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of Trade, four Turkish entrepreneurs participated in Türkiye Pavilion with different mobility projects. Raising awareness of the Turkish mobility ecosystem worldwide, Türkiye Pavilion brought together the local technologies of Turkish companies with the international mobility ecosystem. The pavilion addressed investment opportunities in Türkiye, urban mobility, the Turkish mobility ecosystem, and future mobility. Eight Turkish mobility companies and 4 startups that took part in this special platform had the chance to increase their global competitiveness while promoting their projects, ideas, and software at a global level.

Bilişim Vadisi Offers A Great Opportunity To Companies Engaged In Technology

İlham Saleh, Mahrek’s Foreign Trade Director, stated that they had the opportunity to present their various product ranges in global markets in the fields of battery management systems and many automotive electronics, adding: “We have a very different product range that we want to highlight at this fair. We have a wide range of products from vehicle tracking to animal tracking and electronic bracelets. Bilişim Vadisi provides a great opportunity for companies that are engaged in technology like us. Here, we can develop projects on common ground and provide added value to each other. As technology companies, we are grateful.”

We Had The Opportunity To Introduce Büyütech Internationally

As Türkiye’s first and only automotive camera manufacturer, Büyütech Business Development Specialist Cemre Tepe Zentürk stated that the company’s advanced technologies and experienced R&D teams aim to meet and support camera and camera needs in mobility and other sectors, particularly automotive, and added: “Tomorrow.Mobility is a particularly important fair for the mobility industry. We had the opportunity to identify the camera and camera needs of players in various sectors and to introduce Büyütech globally. We would like to thank Bilişim Vadisi for its support both nationally and internationally in this field.”

Saykal Seeks New Partners In The World Of Mobility

Saykal Electronic Business Development Manager İsmail Bican stated that they participated in this fair with their radar-based blind spot detection sensors and added: “Our company is seeking new partners, especially in the mobility world, which has become a trend all over the world and where major companies and startups form an ecosystem together. We hold partnership and cooperation meetings at this fair while pursuing potential collaborations.”

Strong Names In Micromobility Together

İbrahim Kumaş, Head of Expansion and Incentives of BinBin, emphasized that the fair brought together all actors in the field of micromobility and added: “We had the opportunity to meet with various municipalities here. We would like to thank Bilişim Vadisi for making it possible for us to come here.”

Bilişim Vadisi Pioneers Mobility Companies

Intetra Sales and Marketing Manager Özcan Ersoy stated that the reason for attending the fair was to introduce the new generation artificial intelligence-based adaptive intersection management systems to the participants and sector representatives and added: “We aim to increase our mutual cooperation through this fair. Bilişim Vadisi is a pioneering company that provides services for the mobility sector. Through such events, we are able to reach a wider audience and make ourselves and our organization more visible.”

Pavilion Is Important To Show Türkiye’s Strength In Mobility

Emphasizing that their aim is to promote sustainable transportation with innovative solutions, Parabol Marketing Director Tuğçe Işık added; “We attended this fair with a product that promotes sustainable transportation, particularly public transportation, and provides public transportation optimization analysis. It is valuable for us to participate together with the Türkiye Pavilion. The pavilion is important to show that Türkiye is a strong actor in mobility for smart cities. We are so glad to be a part of it.”

The Leadership Of Bilişim Vadisi Encouraged Us As Well

Robo Business Development Manager Ömer Faruk Doğan stated that they established turnkey robotic production lines for the automotive industry and participated in the fair to introduce their value-added products, and added; “By attending this fair, we can investigate similar products in the global ecosystem and determine which aspects of our product require improvement. We are also exploring new market opportunities for our product. This is indeed a good opportunity for us. In previous years, no pavilion from Türkiye had been opened directly. So, the leadership of Bilişim Vadisi encouraged us as well.”
