Türkiye-Greece Hackathon 2025
Semi-Final Held At Bilişim Vadisi!

The semi-final of the Türkiye-Greece Hackathon, bringing together the technology ecosystems of Türkiye and Greece, was held with great excitement at Bilişim Vadisi!

Launched under the leadership of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye and Greece, the Hackathon was organized in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, and in collaboration with Bilişim Vadisi, Türkiye ‘s Technology and Innovation Hub, and the Athens Startup Incubation Center. The semi-final of the two-day Hackathon, full of excitement, took place at Bilişim Vadisi.

At the semi-final held at Bilişim Vadisi, 10 teams, guided by experts, competed fiercely to move on to the grand final, developing projects on sustainable urban mobility, smart cities, IT and transportation systems, disaster management, and solutions to facilitate daily life. The projects were evaluated by a jury consisting of leading names from the technology and entrepreneurship world.

The Finalist Teams Are Determined!

On the second day of the event held at Bilişim Vadisi, 6 teams were selected from the 10 teams who presented their projects to the jury, and these teams will participate in the final to be held in Greece for the grand prize. At the end of the competition, the finalists aimed to provide concrete solutions in the field of smart city technologies with their developed projects. Projects that emerged, particularly on critical topics such as the sustainability of cities, disaster management, and transportation systems, received great interest from the jury.

Prizes Awaiting Teams in the Final

The teams advancing to the final, which will take place in Greece, will compete for the following prizes:

🥇 1st Team: €20,000
🥈 2nd Team: €10,000
🥉 3rd Team: €5,000

These prizes are just the beginning. The projects that make it to the final will be supported in their investment and commercialization processes and will have the opportunity to find a place in the global market.

The Grand Final in Greece!

Türkiye-Greece Hackathon 2025 stands out as an important example of collaboration that strengthens the sharing of knowledge and skills between the two countries’ technology ecosystems.

Following the successful completion of the semi-final at Bilişim Vadisi, the final program will be held in Greece on February 27, 2025. This final, where the best projects will compete, will offer entrepreneurs an opportunity to prove themselves on the international stage.

The Türkiye -Greece Hackathon, launched with the theme of Smart Cities, aims to support the development of the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystems, encourage innovative projects, and strengthen the collaboration between the two countries.
