We Wish to Make Our Mark On The Aviation Industry
ALTUNBOZAR, FOUNDER OF AIRCAR:
WE WISH TO MAKE OUR MARK ON THE AVIATION INDUSTRY
The air taxi project known as AirCar, which is based in Türkiye’s Bilişim Vadisi, is getting ready for a thrilling adventure in the footsteps of Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi, who flew across the Bosphorus. After inspecting AirCar, Mustafa Varank, the Minister of Industry and Technology, was guaranteed that on April 23, 2023, a domestic air taxi would fly from Galataport to Üsküdar.
Minister Varank stated that they will strive to acquire approval for AirCar to cross the Bosphorus, saying, “If our friends can make it, an air taxi, a flying car, of Türkiye will travel from Galataport to Üsküdar on April 23.”
Varank stressed the huge potential for flying cars in Türkiye, saying, “We are motivated to be a success in this industry.” Eray Altunbozar, the founder of AirCar also stated, “We intend to make our mark on the aviation industry by flying from Galata to Üsküdar, which is also the route of Hezarfen, on April 23, 2023.”
AIRCAR TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY
After two days of panels and business-to-business meetings in Istanbul, the AIRTAXI World Congress resumed at Bilişim Vadisi. The only vertical air show in the history of aviation took place on the final day of the Global Travel Investment-organized summit. The demo flight by AirCar at the vertical air show held at Bilişim Vadisi vertiport was breathtaking.
AIRCAR’S GIFT TO CHILDREN
Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, and officials from key aviation companies attended the demonstration flight. Minister Varank engaged in a nice negotiation with AirCar’s Founder Altunbozar after receiving information on flying vehicles, notably the CEZERİ produced by BAYKAR. Noting that the Bosphorus provides a natural habitat for testing air taxis such as AirCar Minister Varank asked, “Let’s imagine next year on April 23rd, we were able to secure all the licenses, can you fly this from Galataport to Üsküdar on April 23rd?” Altunbozar replied, “We guarantee you that we will do our best to achieve this as a gift to our children on April 23rd.”
TÜRKİYE’S LARGEST TECHNOPARK
Making remarks on the subject, Minister Varank then stated that Bilişim Vadisi is Türkiye’s largest technopark and that the delegates of the AIRTAXI World Congress were invited to Bilişim Vadisi on the third day of the congress.
TÜRKİYE COMES TO MIND WHEN IT COMES TO DRONES
Noting that those who make the right technological investments at the right time have great success, Varank stated, “UAVs and UCAVs have already demonstrated this. Türkiye is the first country that people think of when it comes to UAVs and UCAVs worldwide. We are aware of Türkiye’s enormous potential for flying vehicles and air taxis. Our companies put a lot of effort into these fields.”
IT WILL TAKE A FLIGHT FROM GALATAPORT TO ÜSKÜDAR
Noting that by making investments in these companies at a time when technology is still developing and the market and industry are still open, Türkiye would become a prosperous country, Varank stated, “We inspected the AirCar vehicle. They declared that they hope to conduct a human flight from Galataport to Üsküdar on April 23. In order to ascertain whether the laws are appropriate for this and whether it is possible to do so securely, we will consult with our contacts. If our associates are able to make it on April 23, a Turkish air taxi will take off from Galataport and land in Üsküdar.”
INVESTMENT IN FUTURE TECHNOLOGY
Varank noted that Türkiye should invest in cutting-edge technology, saying, “Only if we can accomplish this can Türkiye one day surpass modern civilizations. Türkiye’s economy can grow to be among the top ten in the world. Türkiye has accelerated significantly, particularly in industry and exports. We are a nation that is able to produce in any kind of industry. However, investment in cutting-edge technologies such as flying cars, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), space, biotechnology, and nanotechnology will make a difference. We are seriously investing in these fields.”
WE WILL WRITE A STORY OF SUCCESS
Varank announced the good news that BAYKAR’s CEZERİ is getting ready for manned flight and that they are also looking at a massive drone that can transport 150 kg of cargo, saying, “All of these items were created and developed by our companies. We are motivated to make history in this industry.”
AIRCAR’S FLIGHT MIGHT SET A WORLD RECORD AND MAKE IT TO THE GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS
Mr. Minister asked , “Can we cross the Bosphorus from Galataport to Üsküdar on April 23?” Eray Altunbozar, the founder of AirCar said, “In fact, we scheduled this for after May 19, so we affirmed. We made a promise. It will be the first-time intercontinental air taxis have flown from Europe to Asia. Despite the short distance, it has symbolic significance. The conquest of Istanbul marked the start of a new era for us. A second era, the era of flying automobiles, is what we aim to usher in. We plan to fly from Galata to Üsküdar on April 23, 2023, which was also Hezarfen’s route, in an attempt to make a name for ourselves in the aviation industry. A flying car will be traveling between continents for the first time. The Guinness Book of Records might recognize this flight.”
LOOKING FORWARD TO AIRCAR’S GALATAPORT FLIGHT
The attendees welcomed the congress, which was attended by over 300 national and international aviation industry representatives. Following the vertical air show, Yu Min Joung of the South Korean Air Safety Technology Institute stated, “This is an excellent opportunity to meet people in the aviation industry. I have heard that AirCar will take off on April 23rd of next year, and I am excited about it.”
TÜRKİYE HAS ADVANCED IN TECHNOLOGY
Bruno Rampinrilli of the Italian business Rot to 70 said, he enjoyed the event and remarked, “I believe Türkiye is making technological advances. There are numerous technological innovations and developments to be made in this field, but we are on the right track. It was a pleasure to speak with several aviation industry experts about this organization and how to promote this industry.”
I WILL RETURN FROM TÜRKİYE WITH A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE AND IDEAS
Noting that the technology and creativity coming out of Türkiye, is really interesting, Mammen Tharakan from the Canadian firm Aeroport Internatiolan D’edmonton said, “Coming all the way from Edmonton, Canada, was worthwhile. I will return with a ton of knowledge and ideas. In the near future, I intend to return here.”
